The First Camp Saturday of 2025
Day Two of Family Camp One and we're on cloud Nine! Can't get over this fantastic crew and never want to stop being together. So we made the most of our full day and lived it to the fullest. We started off with a delicious french toast breakfast that we'll be dreaming about for the rest of our lives. After fueling up, a bunch of us went bowling and even shocked ourselves with our strike skills. While some of us were bowling it up, others took to the hills at Polly Hill Arboretum and had some exploration time before the rain came. A small crew stayed back at camp for some art and chilling and the rest of us came back to reunite with them for a quesadilla lunch and some rest time by the fire.
After lunch, many of us made our way to Oak Bluffs for the pride parade, some shopping, and a ride on the Flying Horses. It was such a blast and the rain held off for just enough time for us to dance in the street and hoot and holler at all the parade walkers. Since it was a chilly afternoon, a crew stayed back to tend to the fire, make some art, and play some games. Nothing like a grey Saturday to get you in the mood for being cozy. When it was time for dinner, we got our hand wipes and big bowls out because it was time for BBQ! Good food and good chats galore. After dinner, a small crew went to go cheer on our Sharks at the baseball field and others stayed back for a cozy movie night. In case you're cur, Wicked won the movie vote and we're all here for it. Since it was a rainy Saturday, we thought we might as well be singing in the rain.
And now it's time for sleep before our last morning together tomorrow. We want today to last way longer, but sleep is a knockin' and we're answering the door. We'll see you tomorrow!
Love,
Camp
