Sunday Funday in the Sun-Day

Last day of Week 1 and we fully dove in like nobody's business. We woke up like the champs that we are and made our way down to breakfast for overnight oats cookies, spinachy-cheesy eggs, and bacon. Then after that baller brekki, a few of us went to fly in the sky in the biplanes and the rest of us headed into Jabberday. Those of us back at camp then went to class. Today's classes were mocktails with Shirley and tennis with Krista. Today's mocktails on menu were no-jitos and shirley temples. They were both amazing!!

Then we all gathered back together for lunch and yaps to catch each other up on our mornings. Then we had a little rest time and suited up for the beach. When we got to the beach, we realized that the wind was amazing and the water was gloriously warm. It was such a good beach day and the wind didn't deter anyone from boats and boards. Paddle boards that is.

It was such a good beach day that we struggled to peel ourselves from the sand, but it was time at some point since we're not actual mermaids and we do love a good bus ride so that was a good comp (compromise). When we got back to camp, it was time for showers and reset and then we all went to our last dinner of the first week of camp. We had been waiting for taco dinner all day and when it finally arrived, we were overjoyed. It definitely lived up to the hype.

After din, we gathered in the screened in porch for memory circle to share our favorite parts of the week and remember all the really fun times we had setting up the summer perfectly. Now we are so tired from a day well spent and will be retiring to our cabins. Sweet dreams bloglettes, sweet dreams.
