Session 2, Look at You!

Well, would you look at that! Some amazing humans just joined us at camp to kick off Session 2! We met up with everyone in Woods Hole and sailed over to Vineyard Haven to parade up to camp and let the people know we're here. Once we made it up to camp, we started unpacking, setting up our cabins just the way we like them and then diving into some yummy lunch. Lunch today was pizza bagels and lasagna, veeery italian of us. Also at lunch, we introduced ourselves to the rest of the group and said hi to new and old friends.

After lunch we had some time to go back to the cabin to rest and keep unpacking, so that we felt all nested in our spaces. Then, we had a great choice afternoon with some really great choices. Afternoon choices were archery, stroll into town, beading, letter delivery (thanks to Brick) and world cup game watching. TBH most of us did almost all of those choices! Some of us were satisfied with the World Cup results today and shouted at every twist and turn. We learned that we have some archery pros among us and were reminded that our favorite letter delivery system is the Brick system. We made bracelets to add a little pop of color and got Mad Marthas ice cream because we don't waste any time getting back to our fave ice cream spot.

After the afternoon (afterafternoon), we gathered back together for SUCH a good din of greek bowls that we will be dreaming of for weeks to come and some yummy snickerdoodle cookies for dessert. We then had some lovely dinner announcements and made our way into the screened in porch to play some games and circle up. Tonight's circle was to share with the group what we're most looking forward to for this week and sharing a little about ourselves. A chill night in could not have had a better vibe if we tried. Everyone was so cozy together and we even got the first John Wobble dance of the session. We're just so happy to be together.

Now it's time for bed and so off we go. We're all snuggled in for our first night back at camp and couldn't be happier. We'll see you tomorrow for our first full day of the sesh.
