Saturday Sweetness to Tie It All Together

Well we are in our feeeels, but we want to tell you about the day so we're gonna compose ourselves. Today was magical. It started with a perfect breakfast and then a few of us went to go run the MV Hospital 5K while the rest of us went to the farmer's market! We shopped local, saw friends, and listened to some great music. And our runners saw some great views and supported a crew who we're really grateful for!

Then we gathered back here for a delish lunch and some packing time. Once we were all packed up, some of us went to one last beach day despite the rain and others of us took a stroll into town to explore and shop our last bits and pieces.

After that we came back to camp for showers and getting ready for PROM!!! We all put on our best attire, sprayed glitter all over, and put sequins around our eyes until our sparkly hearts were fully satisfied. Then we went down to the main cabin for appies and mixed mocktails and then the World Famous Celeste Mashed Potato Bar dinner. It was all too good to be true.

While we ate, we had the Andrew Z awards AND the James B Joker Awards. We feel so well recognized. When everyone felt sufficiently awarded, we walked down to the studio for an epic last prom of the season!! All the songs were sung, the dances were danced, and the joy was spread.

And now it is time to snuggle in and enjoy the cabin vibes once more before next summer. So off we go, ta ta for now and we'll see ya back here for fam camp next weekend. But for now we relish in the greatness that was summer session. We loved it more than words.
