Last Day Best Day (Well All Days Were Best) Friday

Well golly what a day that was! It was the last day of Session 4 which also means the last day of Summer Camp 2025 here at Jabberwocky. So we made sure to go big before going home. We started the morning with absolutely delicious cinnamon pastries, fruit, eggs, and bacon. Then we got to packing! Sad, but we have to do it sometime and we don't want to forget anything! After packing, a couple of us went to a windy beach day while others stayed back for focaccia making with Avery, stretching with Sophie, and meditation with Athena.

Then we regrouped for a great caesar wrap lunch fit for royalty. At lunch we also had the Andrew Z awards, which were fantastic and mostly focused on colors, as I'm sure you'd assume. After we were well awarded, some of us took a trip to Aquinnah to explore the lighthouse and others stayed back and took a walk into town for ice cream, coffee, and just some good hangs with friends. After we were all back at camp, we gathered together in the screened in porch for memory circle, where we all shared highlights and feelings from a really spectacular session. We were all in agreement that things just feel right when you spend time with good friends. Once we all shared we continued on into the main cabin for Thanksgiving dinner! We have a lot to feel thankful for here, so it was perfectly fitting.

When we were stuffed with stuffing and other good foods we found some extra room for dessert and then got our competitive hats on for Cabin Challenge!! Tonight's challenges included best smile, best singer, best dancer, best nails, best ability to scare judges, most sarcastic statement, and best raspberry. As you know, we're all very good at most of those things and also extreeeemely competitive, so the competition was fierce. But wait, get this! We all won!!!!! Feels good to be a winner and also congratulate your friend in another cabin for also being a winner. Anyways, now we're off to bed for one last cabin snuggle.
