Just a Sweet Sweet Birthday Saturday

Today was our last day of Session 3 and we really soaked it all in! Let's get into it. Some of us started the morning a little earlier than others because we were heading to the Chilmark Road Race! It was a blast and a half to experience the excitement of the race and join in ourselves. The rest of us back at camp had a late wakeup and a delish late brekki. Then most of us went on over to the beach while some of us stayed back to do art, karaoke, and make focaccia! Such different mornings and they were all so perfect!

Then we came back for a yuuuuummy meatball sub and caesar wrap lunch before showers and packing. After we were all clean and packed up our suitcases nice and neatly (of course), we got dressed up for prom! Today we got dressed up early because we then took our bus picture, prom style, and gathered for memory circle. Tears were shed, highlights were remembered, and hugs were freely given out. We just love our friends so much. After expressing all the gratitude and love, we went to the screened in porch for appetizers and then into the main cabin for Birthday Prom dinner! HUGE shout out to Madeline for turning the main cabin into a full on birthday party zone. We had birthday cake, root beer floats, AND the Hannah B awards! Lucky us!!

After the most epic dinner celebration, we made our way down to the studio for prom! Celeste made the best prom playlist we could have ever dreamed of and we danced the night away. We're now feeling so full of love and birthday cake, so off to bed we go. Sweetest dreams.
