Just a normal, run of the mill Saturday.... JK!!!

Happy parade day!! We're really pumped about walking through the streets of Edgartown in our costumes with our friends, so that's what we're celebrating today. The joy of being joyful with people we love. The parade was the end of our day though, so little rewind.

We started the morning with fritatta brekki and then headed into Jabberday Live. Then we headed to our cabins to pack (booooo) and cool off from the heat. After that, we had classes! Class this morn were henna, parade prep, community planning meeting, and dirt cups. Such a stacked lineup. And we honestly did all of them for the most part. Then we gathered for a yummy lunch. Ever tried chicken salad with bacon bits? If not, please do asap.

Then we had some rest time before getting dressed up for the parade and heading on over to the Edgartown School to line up. Perfect timing to get all ready and march on out! It was so nice seeing everyone cheering for us and marching along to the drums with our friends. The theme this year was Greetings from Martha's Vineyard, so we were all dressed up in postcards from our fave places on the island!

After we marched to our hearts desire (aka the full parade loop), we headed back to camp for showers and dindin. It was such a delish pulled pork and mac&cheese din with blueberry cobbler for dessert. Now we are about to sleep sooooo well before we head out tomorrow. We have loved Session 1 so much and sad that it's over but so so grateful for all the memz!

We'll see you all back here when Session 2 arrives. Sleep tight!

Love,

Camp
