Glorious Goats and Killer Kayaks
Well we just had a DAY! Let's break it down for ya.
So our day started with a delish pancake breakfast made by our lovely cook crew. Then we went on over to Native Earth Teaching Farm for our first goat visit and drum sesh. The little drizzle did not keep Lilly from feeding eggs to Boris the pig nor did it keep Solomon and Steph from having a full 45 minute jam sesh. And the rest of us were just thrilled to be back with our favorite goats.
When the goats were ready for lunch, so were we! So we made our way back to camp for delish and creative nachos, whilst wondering what the goats were having for lunch (we're nach-sure they really would like them... get it?) After lunch we had some time for rest before a little choose your own adventure afternoon. A small group of us went to have a classic beach day at State, while others headed to kayaking with the Trustees. And kayak we did! We're not exaggerating when we say that we spent no less than 2.5 hours out on the water. And some of us even spent that time up on paddle boards! Spectacular if we do say so ourselves.
When everyone was ready to leave their respective beaches, we gathered back at camp for a pizza dinner, catchup chats by the fire, showers, and bed. Sending all the love as we drift off to sleep. Until tomorrow!
Love,
Camp
