Dreary Day Leads to Shiny Adventures - By Kevin

We awoke to grey skies, but that definitely didn’t put a damper on our schedules as we were busy with activities all day long. A brave group of us decided to channel our inner Jack and enjoy some time on the beach together despite the lackluster sun. As a remedy for the lack of amicable weather, we got a chance to be our own baristas and, for some of us, had our first coffee ever. We also had the opportunity to get our creative juices flowing during poetry class with Avis Nora and sticker making with Caitlin. The remainder of our day was very musical. One of our own has their own band that came to perform for us.  A melodious time was had by all. I would be remiss if I didn’t again mention something special that happened yesterday. The duo of Atlantic Harmony came for a class in the morning, and then we all crammed into the vehicles to go to a benefit concert in the afternoon. Overall, you could say the last few days have put me in musical heaven, and there is nowhere else I would rather be, surrounded by some of my most cherished friends in one of my most cherished places.
