A Sweet and Satisfying Saturday

What a beautiful Saturday we had. It started with a lovely frittata and cantaloupe brekki and then we headed out on some adventures. Some of us went bowling and got strike after strike after glorious strike. Others went to the MV museum and learned a lot about the island we love so much. And the rest of us went to the Chilmark flea to look at pretty things and even buy some goodies. Then we made it back to camp for an amazing mac and cheese bar lunch. After refueling, we got into our bathing suits and headed to the beach. It was such a beautiful beach day so we couldn't resist bringing out all the beach toys and frolicking through the water. We couldn't believe just how gorgeous it was.

After we soaked up the sun, we headed back to camp for showers and to get dressed in our favorite colors for semi formal dinner. Dinner was unreal (we know we say that a lot and it is but this one was truly next level). We had steak and salmon and twice baked potatoes and salad and chimichurri and salsa verde. Truly food that will exist in our dreams for years to come. We balanced the din with some berry cobbler and ice cream for dessert. After a delish din and dessert, it was time for FAMILY OLYMPICS!!! This was the best family olympics we've seen in a while. We competed in best smile, karaoke, best team cheer and walkout routine, fastest mummy, most efficient trash cleanup, name that song, and dance off! It was EPIC!! But with all that epicness comes tiredness and so now it's time for bed. We'll see you back here tomorrow for our final fam camp day of the season. Sweet dreams!
